POLI International FEST 2026: see you at POLITEHNICA on May 14 and 15

POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest hosts, on May 14 and 15, 2026, the second edition of POLI International FEST, an event that, for two days, transforms the campus into a meeting point between embassies, multinational companies, international organizations and students of the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages.

CNREE is present at the event and joins the organizers in building this experience for students and partners from the technical and diplomatic environment. The support we offer goes beyond financial involvement: we find ourselves in the objectives of the festival and in the direction it sets for engineering education in Romania.

Engineers who learn today in a multilingual and multicultural environment are the ones who will design electrical and electronic equipment in a decade. How they understand product responsibility, from design to end-of-life, will determine the quantity and quality of waste streams we will manage as a country and as an industry.

For CNREE, meeting this generation in an open, international and applied framework is one of the most effective investments we can make. The discussion about WEEE, extended producer responsibility (EPR) and design for recycling should not remain between specialists. It should reach the laboratories, workshops and breaks between courses of the students who will make the technical decisions.

What's happening on campus

The program includes technical exhibitions, practical workshops, an international flag parade, language crash courses, soft skills sessions, debates and panels. The entire experience is held in English, French and German, an authentic professional practice ground for any future engineer, including those who will work in the electrical and electronic equipment recycling industry.

The detailed program is available on the official event page.

See you at the POLYTECHNIC.

On May 14 and 15, the CNREE team is on campus. For any questions about WEEE legislation, the obligations of electrical and electronic equipment manufacturers, or the educational projects we carry out with the educational environment, you can find us on site or write to us on our contact page.
